    • An independent, statewide, non-profit resource for families who are raising children with special needs, from prenatal through adulthood, by providing information, education and emotional support

    • A grassroots organization that offers a caregiver/provider directory, news and an e-mail list so families and professionals can interact with one another
  • Oral Health Care For Children With Special Health Care Needs (Link opens in new window)
    • A guide for family members, caregivers and dental providers was put together by the Oklahoma Children’s Oral Health Coalition to help dental practitioners and families make oral care and dental visits as painless as possible for children with special health care needs. There is a printable PDF version as well as a Word version that allows for skipping to specific chapters of the guide. The resources page includes a link to SoonerCare’s list of dentists. The guide is housed on the Oklahoma Association of Community Action Agencies’ Web site. Scroll down the opening page until you see the title (about half way down the page).

    • Get information about Children's Medical Center of Hillcrest Healthcare System in Tulsa. It receives Title V funds for providing intensive care to newborns who need it

    • OU Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City is the home of several programs receiving Title V funds including SoonerSUCCESS, OASIS, Family Partners and receives Title V funds for services for autism and sickle cell.
